Introducing 'The Art of Mindful Living"
at Il Respiro in Chianti - Yoga with Jeannie Manchester

Dates – To Be Determined

Just down the road from Radda in Chianti, the centro chic of Chianti Classico, Il Respiro lies in waiting to capture your heart. Francesco Mitrano spent three years restoring Il Respiro to maintain an air of the past, with the sensibility of the present.

Diverse schools of yoga and instructors will join us in the long and spacious yoga studio overlooking the Tuscan countryside, where yoga will be offered twice a day in the morning and evening. Poetry and shared writing will take place by the focolare (fireside). Meals will be jointly prepared and shared, or out and about in various locations. There will be time for walks and planned excursions. Bring your paints or whatever you would like to dedicate contemplative time to. Painting and writing courses with well-known instructors will be offered as well.

Up a dirt road past as 11th century Roman church and bell tower, Il Respiro gives an impressionable welcome with her fleshy rose-colored walls and stone entrance covered with creeping vines and wisteria. She commands 25 hectares of vine-covered hills and sweeping vistas, giving a sense of equilibrium between man and nature.

Aristocratic and well-appointed, the interior gives a sense of warm austerity. A place to expand your mind and relax into a timeless dream. Straightaway one has the feeling of tranquility, as if here, one can easily experience the poetry of living well.

Itineraries will be customized according to the need of the participants in the program. Please let us know what you are interested in. Contact us for further information.

Il Respiro is also available for rental by the day or week. Please contact us if you are interested.
