Fattoria degli Usignoli
A soulful program deserves a soulful place to rest. In the Tuscan coutryside, on a terraced hillside overlooking the Valley Valdarno, sits a villa built by the friars of Vallombrosa in the 15th century. Welcome to the Fattoria degli Usignoli, Farm of the Nightingales, owned by Silvia and Roberto Pincitore.

degli Usignoli is a country resort that includes a
four-star hotel and residences, and is located in San Donato,
in Fronzano, close to Reggello, and
within
easy
reach
of
Florence. La
Fattoria sits on 55 spectacular acres overlooking the
Arno valley, 45 minutes from Florence, amidst olive groves
and vineyards, with a splendid panoramic view of the
Florentine hills.
The atmosphere is peaceful, old-world,
relaxed. Look out your window, every room has a view. Accommodations are two bedroom apartments
with bath and terraces overlooking the vineyards. The rooms
are spacious, light and decorated with terracotta tiles,
shuttered windows and rustic furniture. Small kitchens
with granite counters make for an altogether authentic and
welcoming
stay.
On the villa's grounds, you can enjoy
the gardens and terraces, pools and riding stables, billiards
and tennis.
Bicycles are available for rent. The villa's home-grown products include
Chianti wine, olive oil, vin santo, honey and grappa.
